I will beg, steal and blackmail…

the only guy who will stand and be unperturbed by that would be my Hubby. And eventually with a extravagant **sigh** say “OK”, go buy them…. ummm.. just kidding ;o)

So eventually, for helping him wash the car in the hot sun, to spending the whole day taking care of Aarya… to just being a lazy snot.. I got to buy some amazing titles..

I bet you guys have read some, if not all of these titles and I would love to know your thoughts on them. ALL of them are used books, and I bought them for unbelievable prices, I am just basking in the glory of saving money and having some really cool, not-so-used-looking copies for myself.

I am just plain darn happy, it is great therapy, this book-shopping, and then receiving and then just having them sit in front of you all the time…. and then itching to buy more. brr…Well no, I am not buying anything until next month, I promise…

  1. I absolutly agree, book-shopping makes me happy as well 🙂

I haven’t read any of the titles but I do have The Ya Ya Sisterhood here.

I hope you enjoy your new books.

  2. Book therapy is the best! I loved Poisonwood Bible but then again I’m a fan of Barbara Kingsolver. The Ya-Ya book was cute but then it sort of got on my nerves after it all the hype around it 🙂

  3. Divine Secrets is a really fun read–typical Southern lit (can’t wait to hear what you think). Poisonwood Bible is one of my favorite books–absolutely fantastic, but a little tougher than Divine Secrets. Enjoy the books Veens!!

  4. Wow! Lucky you! I am looking to reduce the amount of money I spend on books. Where did you get these from! Any information at all will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 🙂

I love to hear your thoughts!
