When cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse sees a naked man on the side of the road, she doesn’t just drive on by. Turns out the poor thing hasn’t a clue who he is, but Sookie does. It’s Eric the vampire–but now he’s a kinder, gentler Eric. And a scared Eric, because whoever took his memory now wants his life.

Just when you think this series really cannot get anymore spicier….
There is drool-worthy ancient (now i think ancient is synonymous to sexy in this series) Eric has lost his memory and is in the guy-next-door avatar with whom you can definitely have your happily-ever-after. Poor Sookie, you can never fault her for giving in to his innocent charms. Eric, never my favorite is oh-so cute in this installment.

So the plot – Eric has lost his memory, thanks to a very powerful witch-high-command who covets Eric in ALL raunchy ways. This witch clan is also wants Eric’s assets and also is a danger to all the other super-natural beings! So the Vamps, the weres, shifters and the good witches join hands to defeat this awful clan. Of course, in between this, Sookie’s brother Jason is also gone missing and she fears that he has been taken hostage by this witch clan.

Oh well, this is definitely high on action, Bill is nowhere to be seen, except when he comes in the very end. I did not want to believe that Bill’s and Sookie’s relationship is over, but I think Sookie did the right thing by moving on… but moving on to where? We will have to find out!

Darn, I am addicted!

  1. What?! Eric isn’t your favorite, well that’s ok I guess then I have one less person in this world to share him with LOL. Great review 🙂

Anna: I think there are a ton better paranormal books out there then the Austen remakes 🙂 Although the genre and this series isn’t for everyone there might be a paranormal out there just waiting for you to read it 😉

  2. I have just started getting a little bit more into vampires, but haven’t read about any modern ones yet. I have just been watching The Vampire Diaries. So many love Sookie that I might just have to try the first in the series.

  3. This is my favorite of the Sookie series 🙂

And welcome to WP, I just saw you migrated over! How do you like this platform? You can expect more review comments from me now that I don’t have to wait for the captcha text everytime :))

I love to hear your thoughts!
