Saturday Snapshots

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books. It’s easy to participate – just post a picture that was taken by you, a friend, or a family member and add your link on Alyce’s site.

This pic reminds me of Mysore and our home there. This was the very small garden of the house I lived in before marriage. And this was the place where our dog (Vava, is her name) would dig almost all the time. I used to always wonder when this small plant will fall because she used dig so near to the roots when we were not looking. It never fell and was still there when we left. And I hope it still blossoms like this even now.
I am feeling nostalgic, and I thought I will never say this, but I do miss Mysore and my 2- wheeler (lol!).

  1. Wow, I love when sights, sounds and other sensory things remind me of happy places from my past. This is a beautiful picture of a beautiful subject. Thanks for sharing!

  2. That is really a pretty plant. The flowers are beautiful. The trunk or whatever is more like a vine. Wonder if all of them are like that. Thanks for sharing it!

I love to hear your thoughts!
